Thistle One of Five Crusaders Named Landmark Conference Athletes of the Week

MADISON, N.J. — Five out of the nine Landmark Conference Athletes of the Week announced on Sept. 29 represent Susquehanna University.

Junior Paul Thistle (Blue Bell, Pa./Wissahickon) was the Landmark's men's cross country Athlete of the Week. Thistle (right) placed eighth out of 205 runners in the 8,000-meter race at Williams College's Purple Valley Classic on Sept. 27 to help Susquehanna to ninth place out of 18 teams. He posted a time of 26 minutes, 41 seconds in a field that included an NCAA Division I team and three nationally ranked Division III squads.
