Middleburg's Bailor Earns Commonwealth Conference Field Hockey Player of the Week Honors

SELINSGROVE, Pa. - Susquehanna University sophomore attack Leah Bailor (Richfield, Pa./Middleburg H.S.) has been named the Commonwealth Conference Player of the Week in field hockey for the week ending September 24, the conference announced Monday.

Bailor, an NFHCA Division III third-team All-American as a freshman last season, scored three goals and added two assists as the Crusaders moved to 5-2 overall with a pair of shutout victories. She scored the final two goals of the match as Susquehanna defeated King's 4-0 on Thursday afternoon, and posted a goal and two assists in the second half as the Crusaders rolled past Widener 6-0 on Saturday.

For the season, Bailor leads the Crusaders with 10 points and is tied for the team lead with four goals. She ranks fifth in the Commonwealth Conference in points per game (1.43) and is tied for fourth in goals per game (0.57).

The Crusaders will return to action on Tuesday, September 26 with a 4 p.m. home match against Cedar Crest College.
