CANTON, N.Y. — Five Susquehanna University football players were named to the 2008 Liberty League all–academic football team on Nov. 7.

The honorees include junior running back and finance major Dave Paveletz (Warrior Run, Pa./Hanover Area), senior split end and finance major Matt Koziol (Shamokin, Pa./Southern Columbia Area), senior linebacker and communication studies major Gary Gall (Pittston Twp., Pa./Pittston Area), senior defensive back and human resources major Matt Ruane (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks West) and sophomore offensive lineman and business major Steve Evans (Sunbury, Pa./Our Lady of Lourdes Regional).
