Three Crusaders Honored as Conference Athletes of the Week
MADISON, N.J.; CANTON, N.Y. — Three Susquehanna University student-athletes were honored as either a Landmark Conference or Liberty League Athlete of the Week on Oct. 13.
Junior running back Dave Paveletz (Warrior Run, Pa./Hanover Area) was the Liberty's co-Offensive Player of the Week. Paveletz (left) ran for a school-record 288 yards on a school-record 47 carries to lead Susquehanna to a 28-13 win over the University of Rochester in a Liberty League game on Oct. 11. His four rushing touchdowns against Rochester tied his own school record. Paveletz also led Susquehanna with three catches for 37 yards.

Sophomore Alycia Woodruff (West Chester, Pa./West Chester East) was the Landmark's women's cross country Athlete of the Week. Woodruff (right) finished first out of 82 runners at the Juniata College Eagle Invitational, held on a 5,000-meter course at Fort Roberdeau in Altoona, Pa., on Oct. 11. Woodruff won the event with a time of 19 minutes, 16.50 seconds, while Susquehanna finished first out of nine teams.

Senior defender Isaac Laubach (Millville, Pa./Millville Area) was the Landmark's men's soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
Laubach (left), an All-America candidate,
scored the game-winning goal on a penalty kick to help lead Susquehanna to a 3–2 Landmark Conference win at the United States Merchant Marine Academy on Oct. 11.
