Men's Soccer and Women's Volleyball Advance in
Landmark Conference Playoffs

SELINSGROVE, Pa. — The Susquehanna University men's soccer and women's volleyball teams will both participate in more Landmark Conference playoffs action on Saturday, Nov. 8.

Admission to Landmark playoffs events is $5 per adult and $3 per senior citizen and non-Landmark student. Children under the age of 10 and all students from Landmark institutions (with ID) are admitted free of charge.

Susquehanna hosts The Catholic University of America in the Landmark men's soccer championship game at Sassafras Fields at 1 p.m. No. 2-seeded Susquehanna advanced to the final with a 2–1 overtime win against visiting No. 3 The University of Scranton in a semifinal on Nov. 5. No. 4 Catholic upset host and No. 1-seeded Drew University, 1–0, in the other semifinal on Nov. 5.

No. 3 Susquehanna plays No. 2 Scranton in a women's volleyball conference semifinal at Juniata College at 1:30 p.m. No. 1 Juniata hosts No. 4 Moravian College at 11 a.m. in the other semifinal. Susquehanna topped visiting No. 6 Goucher College, 3–1 (25–21, 25–27, 25–21, 25–15), in a quarterfinal on Nov. 5. Moravian topped visiting No. 5 Catholic, 3–1 (24–26, 25–14, 25–17, 25–16), in another quarterfinal on Nov. 5. Juniata and Scranton received byes into the semifinals.

The women's volleyball conference championship game will be played between the two semifinals winners on Nov. 8 at Juniata College at 7 p.m.
