Welcome to Susquehanna University's Student Government Association


The Student Government Association is a self-governing organization that provides representation of the student body in Susquehanna University affairs. The main function of the legislative body is the allocation of student activities fees to recognized clubs, student groups, campus projects and university activities. In addition, the Senate acts as a liaison between the administration, faculty, interest groups and student body.

At Monday, November 17th's SGA Meeting:

Provost McMillin and Dr. Peeler discussed the components of the new central curriculum.

SGA discussed the options of investing the Trust Fund and using the interest towards a scholarship for the cross-cultural experience requirement of the new central curriculum.

The Senate discussed actions that the SGA could take in responding the the racial graffiti in Aikens.

At the next meeting, on Monday, December 1st the Senate will:

Hear from representatives of the SWIFT business school investment program
Discuss a Trust Fund resolution
Discuss a potential contribution to the new science building
