The Susquehanna University logo family was designed to provide a consistent graphic representation of the University. The logo or an approved variation should appear in all University-sponsored printed or electronic publications aimed for external audiences.

The family includes one-line and two-line logos, a standalone wordmark, an emblem, and a Crusader athletics logo. There are also a University seal reserved for official Susquehanna business, a special family of logos for use on World Wide Web pages only, and several approved secondary logos for use by specific University units.

Electronic file versons of pre-scanned logos for printed materials are available on the University network or from the Office of Communications. More specific guidelines and logo treatments for use in University World Wide Web pages are available on the Susquehanna Web Central site. The following general guidelines pertaining to size, placement, and color will assist you in using the logo correctly in printed and electronic materials.

When possible, preferable placement for the logo is as the first or highest text element on the most visible portion of the publication, usually the front cover. To assure that the logo and type are always readable, no other type or images should appear too close to our mark. This is approximately 1/4 inch of space when logos are used at the minimum acceptable sizes.
