John Lunardi - Baseball
Susquehanna vs. Lebanon Valley, Moravian, Merchant Marine (3 games) - Against Lebanon Valley, John Lunardi (West Chester, Pa./Henderson) went 2-for-3 with two RBI and four runs scored, walked twice and stole a base. In a one-run loss to conference opponent Moravian, he hit a solo homer. He pitched game one Saturday vs. Merchant Marine, striking out seven and giving up only one earned run in a complete-game win, and helped his own cause with a two-run homer. He also had a stellar game two, going 2-for-3 with three runs scored and two RBI. In addition he tallied back-to-back stolen bases, a triple and Susquehanna’s only home run of the game. In Sunday’s game, he stole four bases and went 2-for-3 with a double and five runs scored.
Megan McCurley - Softball
Susquehanna vs. Juniata (DH), Wilkes (DH), Moravian (DH) - Last week Megan McCurley (Emmaus, Pa./Emmaus) went 7-19 for a .368 batting average and had two RBI. One of those hits was the solo home run against Juniata College that won the game for the Crusaders, 1-0. Megan has three home runs this year and leads the team in batting average, home runs and RBI.
