Susquehanna at Gulden Relays - Bucknell University (Lewisburg, Pa.) - Paul Thistle (Blue Bell, Pa./Wissahickon) finished first in the 3000 meters at the Gulden Relays hosted by Bucknell University on Saturday. His time of 8:42.10 established a new school record for the 3000 meters. His time was 8 seconds better than the second place runner.
Susquehanna at King's College with Drew University (Wilkes-Barre, Pa.) - Kelly Leighton (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./Meyers) posted two individual event wins to help Susquehanna claim tri-meet victories over King's and Landmark opponent Drew. Both of her times in the victories were lifetime bests. She set a new personal best in a time of 11:38.04 in the 1,000 freestyle to earn the victory, and then was also victorious in the 500 freestyle by recording a time of 5:41:31. Her efforts helped Susquehanna improve to 6-3 in dual-meet action this season.
