Susquehanna University

Welcome to the School of Arts, Humanities and Communications at Susquehanna University. Our School is comprised of nine departments and encompasses many degree fields within those departments. Our purpose is to prepare our graduates for success and service in a society that is increasingly diverse, fast-paced, global, and complex. To make learning possible, we provide students with classroom experiences, hands-on learning, and service opportunities.

This year we will continue to challenge our students to merge theory and practice and engage in professional discipline as they pursue career interests in the performing and liberal arts. Our distinguished faculty provide the teaching of analytical skills and foster the ideals of leadership and responsibility while encouraging creativity. We study our heritage and instill a desire for a great future.

The goal of the School of Arts, Humanities and Communications is to prepare our graduates for careers and higher education through their education and experience at Susquehanna while instilling them with an appreciation for the beauty and potential of our diverse society. Our eclectic backgrounds provide a wealth of knowledge, a commitment to scholarship and increased expertise, and a firm dedication to teaching.
