Things to Do in Selinsgrove
Here's the inside scoop on some of what the region surrounding Susquehanna University has to offer. Brittany Bunting '09, a French and writing — secondary education major who hails from nearby Northumberland, Pa., compiled the following list of places to go and things to do in Central Pennsylvania.

Eateries
Kind Café – Local art, paninis and fresh-roasted organic coffee — it's the coffeehouse of every campus' dreams.
Campus Candlelight Café…but nobody calls it that — it's the bagel shop and the best late-night option for a snack downtown.
Irene's – The newest addition to the Market Street experience and the classiest place for that special Valentine's date.
Selin's Grove Brew Pub – A frequent hang out among upperclassmen students — good brews, good eats, and good friends — don't pass up the “Brewery bread”!
BJ's Steak and Ribs...and sandwiches and salads too! The Bongo-Bongo Dip is a must-have and make sure to form a team for trivia night. Even if you don't win, there are prizes for best team name!
Emma's Food for Life – Susquehanna is going “Green” and so should you! Start by supporting local farmers and eating Valley-grown produce with one of Emma's delicious sandwiches.
What's Shakin? – Enjoy a quick frozen treat at Selinsgrove's classic creamery — rich flavors, big portions and lots of friendly faces guaranteed.
Culture
DJ Ernst Books – The aspiring writer or literature lover's paradise. Find inspiration in one of the many rare or out-of-print books, maybe even discover an autographed edition.
Market Street Festival – A must-see Selinsgrove tradition with over 100 vendors. You too can get in on the act through student organization booths or performances.
Late Night Shoppers Night – Round up some friends and head downtown to do some holiday shopping for the family before heading home for winter break. Don't miss the community tree lighting!
First Friday – If it's the first Friday of the month, you can be sure there is a Selinsgrove event to visit! From Dog Days to Music in the Park, it is quickly becoming a student and community tradition.
