Faculty and students explore their fields with intellectual passion and share intriguing studies across disciplinary boundaries. There are also special opportunities in our interdisciplinary Focus programs, which combine courses in the arts and humanities with business and science. Research, collaborative learning, internships, service learning and off-campus study add valuable ways to connect theory and the real world.

Our faculty are practicing writers, musicians, artists, theatre and communications professionals. They take an active interest in your ability and creativity.

Many students who are undecided about a major find the School of Arts, Humanities and Communications an excellent starting point to explore options. Find our more about special advising to help you choose a major, plan for graduate study or start a career on the Career and Graduate School page.
