Photography Contest
All Susquehanna University students who have studied away are encouraged to participate in a photography contest sponsored by the Office of Cross-Cultural Programs. The contest is held twice per year: once for students who were abroad in the spring and summer, and again for students who were abroad in fall and winter.
Students may submit one photo for each of the following four categories: People, Places, Cultural Events and Susquehanna University’s theme of the year. The theme for the 2009-10 academic year is "What it means to be educated." All submissions must be in jpeg format and must be accompanied by the photo contest form.
Winners in each category usually receive bookstore gift certificates and chocolate, and honorable mentions receive a chocolate bar. All the winning and honorable mention photographs are displayed on campus near the Office of Cross-Cultural Programs.
