SELINSGROVE, PA -- Susquehanna University senior Mike Marr (Muncy, Pa./Warrior Run) has been named Landmark Conference Men's Field Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.

Marr produced another strong effort at the Greyhound Invitational. He placed third in the high jump at the meet, finishing only behind two Division I competitors, and he posted the second-highest height of the season in the event. He cleared 1.98 meters in the event.

This is Marr's second athlete of the week award in the outdoor season. He currently holds the best high jump in the conference at 2.04 meters.

The Athlete of the Week selections are made by the Landmark Conference office. The conference chooses athletes of the week in softball, baseball and men's and women's track, field, tennis and lacrosse during the spring sports seasons.
