Jordan Named Men's Tennis Head Coach
SELINSGROVE , PA – Susquehanna University women's tennis coach Bob Jordan has added additional duties as head men's tennis coach, director of athletics Pam Samuelson has announced.
Jordan , a 1971 Susquehanna graduate and a four-year member of the men's tennis team, has directed the women's program since 1994 and led the Crusaders to 69 victories during his tenure. He has produced a pair of conference Player of the Year award winners in Tara McHugh (2002) and Danielle Dormer (2005) and a conference singles champion in McHugh (2002).
“Over his 13 years as women's coach, Bob has done a tremendous job of building a competitive program, and we are confident that he will be able to do the same for the men's program,” said Samuelson.
Most recently, Jordan served as the boy's tennis coach at Selinsgrove Area High School in addition to his work with the Crusader women's program. Susquehanna will compete in the Landmark Conference in both the fall and spring seasons in tennis beginning in September.
