Three Named All-Conference in Men's Soccer
SELINSGROVE, PA – Three Susquehanna University men's soccer players have been named All-Commonwealth Conference in voting by the league's eight head coaches, the conference office has announced.
Junior forward Nate Snyder is a repeat first-team selection while junior forward Justin Makar and freshman defender Isaac Laubach were named to the second team, with Makar earning second-team honors for the second straight season.
The Crusaders finished 9-8-1 overall and in third place in the Commonwealth Conference with a 4-2-1 record under 8th-year head coach Jim Findlay.
Snyder (Catawissa, PA/Southern Columbia) led the Crusaders with 11 goals and four assists for 26 points in 18 games, and ranks third in the conference in both goals and points. In seven conference games, Snyder scored five goals and added four assists for 14 points.
For his career, Snyder is Susquehanna's career leader in goals (34) and points (80) and is tied for fourth all-time with 12 assists in 53 career games.
 Makar (Weirton, WV/Sewickley Academy) scored four goals and finished with eight points in 18 games this season to tie for second on the team in goals and third in points. In 46 career games, Makar has eight goals and eight assists for 24 points.
Laubach (Millville, PA/Millville) played in all 18 games (starting 17) and was a key part of a Crusader defense that recorded a 1.62 goals against average and five shutouts on the season, including three shutouts in conference action.
